Hope is just a word
To make you think there is a cure
Just so you feel reassured
That everything\'s alright

Hope is just as hopeless
As the rest of us have been
All strung out on our broken dreams
All so wearied, worn and thin

So take your lie of hope
And feed it to someone else
Because your hope is not that pretty
And your bullshit kinda smells

Hope is tried but rarely true
Hope is too good for me or you
Hope is nothing and yet so cruel
Your hope is such a bitch
